Countless people want to visit the United States, but they can be put off by the cost. It’s easy to see why. Even the flights themselves can be relatively expensive.
That doesn’t mean all the places in the U.S. are quite so expensive. In fact, there are more than a few affordable U.S. states to try.
Like in Europe, you can go to many of them on a budget, with there being plenty of cities in each to visit.
You shouldn’t have to break the bank on them, with five states standing out as some of the more affordable to go to.
1. Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania is often overlooked as a vacation spot, despite how well-known Philadelphia is. This can be great for helping to keep costs relatively low.
Even the accommodation, like the ROOST apartment hotel Philadelphia, doesn’t have to be as pricey as you’d think.
There’ll be plenty to do, no matter where in Pennsylvania you end up going.
2. Georgia
Georgia boasts countless amazing landscapes, ranging from mountain ranges to sandy beaches.
The views aren’t the only reason this state stands out, as it’s also got a rich civil rights history and plenty of other culture to take in.
Atlanta is a must-visit while you’re there, even if it means spending a little more during the trip.
3. South Carolina
South Carolina boasts some of the nicest views you’ll see across the entire country.
There are plenty of mountains and lakes to soak in, and the charming cities across the state are all relatively affordable to stay in.
Even many of the activities to do are free, like taking a stroll along The Battery. You’ll have no problem enjoying yourself without spending much.
4. Nebraska
Nebraska is one of the least-visited U.S. states, but it can be an amazing place to visit. The fact it doesn’t bring in as many tourists as elsewhere means the overall costs are relatively low.
You’ll have no problem visiting on a relatively tight budget.
There are plenty of attractions to see why you’re there, like Carhenge — a car version of Stonehenge.
5. Arkansas
Arkansas is one of the more overlooked parts of the U.S. to visit. That’s despite how much nature and beautiful landscapes there are to take in.
If you’re a fan of the outdoors, there’s no reason this shouldn’t be somewhere you consider.
There are plenty of places across the state to try, and you’ll have no problem enjoying it on a budget.
A trip to the United States is always an expensive prospect. You don’t always have to break the bank to go to them, though.
There are plenty of affordable U.S. states to visit, with some standing out a lot more than others. You’ll end up having a great time on a budget.
There’ll still be plenty to see and do in each of them, especially considering some larger cities in them.
There’s no reason you shouldn’t have a budget-friendly vacation to the United States.
