Bangkok is an amazing metropolis, full of mystery and wonder and if you are planning to stay with a young family for a week or two, you will no doubt be looking for suitable attractions to visit. In this article, we present some of the best family-friendly venues that the City of Angels has to offer.

This venue has the largest ever wave pool, which must be seen to be believed.
- Pororo AquaPark – Located in Bang Na, this venue is one of the most unique in the country! More than 600m of water slide for a thrilling high-speed aqua encounter, with great eateries and ice-cool beer for dad! - Corgi in the Garden – A novel idea and heaven for the Corgi lover, these amazing canines are affection hunters, and they love nothing more than having kids petting them. The best pet café in Thailand, don’t be surprised if you see other animals and the place is always busy; located in Pathum Wan, in the center of the city. There are other pet cafés, one has gorgeous huskies and they are really smart!
- Evening dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River – All the big hotels have a cruise boat moored at the end of the grounds; they are family-friendly, and the trip starts around 5pm. Enjoy Wat Arun bathed in subtle light, see the best attractions as you slowly pass through the city; the entire cruise lasts 90 minutes and includes a sumptuous buffet and live traditional Thai dancing. The cool breeze is refreshing, and you are sure to want to repeat the experience!
The City of Angels is a mixture of old and new; Buddhist temples right next to skyscrapers and stunning parks where water monitor lizards stroll by. Don’t worry, they are very timid and some grow to 3m, you should be able to get some amazing photos if you are in the right spot and can remain still.
